National Workshop on Antimicrobial Resistance Awareness In collaboration with the Department of Medical Microbiology, College of Health Sciences at Hawler Medical University, the Medical Analysis Department, Faculty of Applied Sciences at Tishk International University (TIU) organized a national workshop on Antimicrobial Resistance Awareness Week, held on November 22, 2023. The workshop aimed to describe how the excessive use of antibiotics is the main contributor to antimicrobial resistance.
