Kurdish Clothes & Women’s Empowerment Event at TIU

Organized by the Dean of Students, it ran from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the university's main entrance. The event aimed to celebrate cultural heritage and promote inclusivity, gathering students, staff, and community members to honor Kurdish traditional clothing and support women’s empowerment. A key highlight was the participation of Sara Group Institution. They provided 14 spaces for women—including homemakers and those with special needs—to showcase and sell their handmade crafts.
