A Delegation of Education and Higher Education Experts Visit TIU

In a bid to foster academic collaboration and exchange knowledge, a delegation of esteemed education and higher education experts from Baghdad visited Tishk International University (TIU). The visit aimed to explore educational practices, strengthen ties between institutions, and discuss potential avenues of cooperation. The delegation was warmly received by Prof. Dr. Abdul Samad Salahuddin Ahmad, the President of TIU and Assist. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ozdemir, Vice President for Academic Affairs.

Among the notable attendees were Mahmood al-Qaisy, the Vice Chair of the education committee at the Iraqi Parliament, Dr. Aqeel Abed, a former member of the Iraqi Parliament, and Dr. Ahmed Al-Ghaban, President of Technology University in Iraq. Upon arrival, the guests were given a comprehensive tour of Tishk International University’s campus, accompanied by the university staff. The delegation had the opportunity to witness firsthand the state-of-the-art facilities and innovative teaching methodologies employed at the university. One of the highlights of the visit was the delegation’s visit to the Faculty of Dentistry, where they had the chance to observe and learn more about the ongoing work and advancements in the field.
