From February 9 to February 13, 2024, Tishk International University proudly hosted the 5th Tishk International Book Fair in the Main Building, organized by the Dean of Students. The event was themed “We Read, We Grow, We Succeed,” with the aim of emphasizing the crucial role of education and reading in fostering personal and societal development.
The opening ceremony featured a keynote speech by Ms. Revan Rzgar from the Mechatronics Department, who highlighted the power of education and reading in shaping enlightened individuals capable of inspiring and educating their communities. The event was attended by Dr. Idris Hadi, Head of the Board of Trustees; Dr. Sultan Abu-Orabi, President of the University; and Dr. Muhammed Abdulghani, Dean of Students.
During the book fair, Appreciation Plaques were presented to several bookstores in recognition of their valuable contributions and continued support of the university’s mission. Among the honored bookstores were Haval Bookstore, Cambridge Bookstore, Ashtyi Bookstore, Lalezar Bookstore, Adiban Bookstore, Kara Bookstore, and Balldar Bookstore.
The fair attracted a diverse audience, including students.
