February 15 was announced as a special day for children with cancer in most of the country around the world: International Childhood Cancer Day. In this context Tishk International University with partnership of Kurdistan Save Children (KSC) organized an amazing Fundraising event in main campus.
The event started at 10:00 a.m. with the opening speech of Dr. Huseyin Caklikoyak Dean of Law Faculty and Director of International Relation Office of Tishk International University. In his speech, he expressed his kind messages to the association and emphasized that Tishk International University are always open its door and proud to be a part of such charity program. After that, Mr. Naif Sulaiman Program Manager of KSC gave a speech as to importance of the day as well as he encouraged everyone to be more active in such programs since whole income of the event will go to those children who are in need. At the end of his speech, he was grateful to Tishk International University for hosting them. Then, the event started after ribbon cutting by Dr. Huseyin Caklikoyak and Dr. Saya Hadi Research Assistant at Dentistry Department (she was the biggest supporter for motivation and help in this event). In the following times of the events, our volunteer students and club’s instructor enriched the event by live music and live songs.
