Education Faculty of Tishk International University and College of Education of Salahaddin University jointly organized conference VESAL’17 in order to attract the research communities to promote connections between theory and practice as well as explore the different perspectives on the application of research findings into different practices.
This year 8th VESAL Conference has been held with 72 submitted paper from 10 different countries such as UK, Kazakhstan, Kirgizstan, Tajikistan, Tataristan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Georgia and Turkey. To evaluate each submission, a blind paper evaluation method was used and those selected papers will be published in Tishk International University Education Faculty Journal and presented as full papers.
One of VESAL’s mission is to make Education Faculty of Tishk International University a center where academics and researchers from all over the world to meet and discuss the developments of their discipline and present their work. To serve this purpose, Tishk International University Education Faculty has been organizing conferences along the lines of well-established and well-defined scientific disciplines. In addition, interdisciplinary conferences are also organized, since they serve the mission statement of the University.
The conference started with the opening ceremony speech by Prof. Dr. Ahmet Oztas President of Tishk International University. Moreover, the conference has prominent guest such as Dr. Pishtiwan Sadiq Ministry of Education, Ahmad Kani Head of PDK Erbil branch, Dr. Idris Hadi Salih Head of Board of Trustees of Tishk International Univeristy, Dr. Fuad Mawlood Shareef President of Cihan University, Dr. Himdad Abdulqahar Muhamad President of Knowledge University, Dr. Saaed Xoshnaw President of Bayan University. Keynote speaker and honorable guest of the program was Prof. Dr. Azamat Akbarov Dean of Philology and Pedagogical Sciences Faculty at Suleyman Demirel University in Kazakhstan.
