The activity started by picking litter in the picnic area located in the Monument of Kasnazan, Koya Road, Erbil.
The project conveyed the following messages:
1. DO NOT LITTER
It is not someone else’s responsibility to pick up our litter!
It is our responsibility!
Please, put your litter in the bin!
2. RECYCLE
You will help reduce pollution!
3. USELESS TISSUES
Useless tissues or use half – Do you really need one whole piece?
4. USE BOTH SIDES OF PAPER
Set your printer’s default option to print double-sided.
5. TAKE THE STAIRS
Healthier for you and kinder to the planet
Why use the lift IF it is only a few steps?
6. BE CREATIVE AND REUSE
Things like bags and paper can be turned into a present or something useful.
7. SWITCH OFF THE LIGHTS
Not just for earth hour but whenever you do not need it.
