Tishk International University Collaborates With IDP IELTS
Tishk International University (TIU) and IDP IELTS (Lebanon) have recently collaborated to improve the IELTS exam at TIU. On May 2nd, 2023, TIU representatives, Asst. Prof. Dr. Abdul Samad Salahuddin Ahmad, the President of TIU, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ozdemir, Vice President for Academic Affairs, and Mr. Hassan Gurbuz, Director of TIU CEC, met with IDP IELTS representatives, Mr. Bilal EL Chaghuori, Country Director, and Mr. Ibrahim Elhassan, Country Manager- Syria and Iraq.
During the meeting, both institutions introduced their organizations and discussed possible collaborations to improve the IELTS exam at TIU. They also highlighted their significant academic achievements. On May 3rd, 2023, Mr. Sharif Ghalayini, Test Center Administrator, organized an IELTS Invigilator Training Course for a group of TIU staff.
The training course aimed to provide information about the IELTS exam as an invigilator and familiarize staff with their responsibilities. The collaboration between TIU and IDP IELTS is expected to lead to significant improvements in the administration of the IELTS exam at TIU. Both institutions are committed to providing high-quality education and ensuring that students have access to the best possible resources and opportunities.
