TIU Signs MoU with Linguistics University of Nizhny Novgorod (LUNN)
With the objective of expanding and strengthening academic and scientific relations, Assistant Professor Dr. Idris Hadi Salih, Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Tishk International University, and Professor Zhanna V. Nikonova, Rector of Linguistics University of Nizhny Novgorod, sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This significant agreement aims to expand and cultivate academic and scientific relations between the two esteemed institutions, furthering the pursuit of excellence in education and research.
Linguistics University of Nizhny Novgorod, located in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia, stands as one of the two linguistic universities in the country. Established in 1937 as the Gorky Pedagogical Institute of Foreign Languages, it has evolved into a distinguished institution of higher education.
In pursuit of collaboration in areas of mutual interest in education and research, and with the aim of promoting direct engagement and cooperation among faculty members, departments, research institutions, and students, both Tishk International University (TIU) and Linguistics University of Nizhny Novgorod (LUNN) formalized their partnership through the signing of the MoU on June 3rd, 2023.
During the meeting, representatives from both universities showcased their respective institutions, highlighting significant accomplishments in terms of academic programs, accreditation, international rankings, and their responsiveness to market needs. Furthermore, discussions centred around the implementation process of the MoU and identified various areas of collaboration for future endeavours.
