Humble Farewell Event Held for Participants of DAAD-funded Project at Germany’s Bauhaus University of Weimar

In a significant step towards fostering international academic collaboration, a farewell event was organized for participants of the project titled “Multiscale Consequence Studies for Hazard Impact on Structures in Iraq.” The project, funded by the prestigious DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service), saw six teaching staff members and four students embarking on a research and training journey at Germany’s Bauhaus University of Weimar.

The event was graced by the presence of key figures, including Assist. Prof. Dr. Idris Hadi, Chair of the Board of Trustees; Dr. Mehmet Ozdemir, Vice President; and the Dean of the Engineering Faculty Assist. Prof. Dr. Jwan Jalal. Their attendance underscored the importance of international collaboration in academia and the significance of the project’s aims.

During their stay, the participants engaged in rigorous research activities, availing themselves of the advanced resources and expertise offered by Bauhaus University of Weimar. They also took part in training courses and workshops.
