TIU Nursing Department Secures Five-Year Accreditation from ASIIN
We are delighted to announce that the Nursing Department, Faculty of Nursing at Tishk International University (TIU) has been granted a certificate of accreditation for the next five years by ASIIN, a reputable accrediting agency.
To commemorate this significant achievement and express our gratitude to the dedicated instructors, students, alumni, and support staff, the Nursing Department organized an Accreditation Certificates Awarding event on November 5th, 2023.
Introduction to the event, followed by a promotional video of the Nursing Department and Tishk International University was presented. Dr. Sultan Abu Orabi, President of TIU, delivered a heart-warming welcome speech, and Prof. Dr. Hiwa Banna, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, shared insightful opening remarks for the occasion. To enhance the audience’s understanding of accreditation, two keynote speakers were introduced. Dr. Rasha Alkabbanie, the Director of Accreditation and ISO, commenced the seminar by discussing the importance and roadmap of the accreditation process in the nursing program. The Head of the Nursing Department, Dr. Dara Abdulla Al Banna, followed as the second keynote speaker, providing an informative presentation on the strengths of the nursing program that contributed to obtaining the accreditation certificate.
Acknowledging the collaborative effort of every team member, congratulations and gratitude was expressed by presenting success appreciation awards to Dr. Mehmet Ozdemir, Vice President of Academic Affairs, each accreditation member, supportive staff members, academic staff representatives, stakeholder in clinical area (PAR hospital), student and alumni representatives and all faculty members in recognition of their exceptional commitment and accomplishment. Additionally, all nursing students received a token of success accreditation from the Dean and Head of the Nursing Department.
