The system ensures efficient water use by delivering precise amounts of water based on real-time data, significantly benefiting water-scarce regions. Well Control Training Course at TIU

Tishk International University (TIU), in collaboration with the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and Pulsar Petroleum, successfully completed a five-day Well Control Training Course from August 25-29, 2024, aligned with SDG 4’s focus on quality education. On February 22nd, 2024, the Computer Engineering and Information Technology Departments at Tishk International University – Sulaimani (TIUS) conducted a special ceremony to acknowledge and honour the most outstanding students from both departments. The event celebrated and acknowledged their academic accomplishments and diligence, aimed to inspire other students to strive for excellence and hard work. Additionally, the event held an emotional farewell for one of the top students who was selected for an exchange programme to study in Malaysia for one semester. He successfully completed the programme through his academic achievements.

Exploring Academic Insights and Cultural Delights in Erbil City

The Department of Computer Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, and the Department of Information Technology, Faculty of Applied Sciences at Tishk International University – Sulaimani (TIUS), organized an enlightening scientific and social trip to the Governorate of Erbil on November 23rd, 2023. The students were given an opportunity to explore the academic facilities and practical labs at Tishk International University – Erbil. During the visit, they observed and participated in practical classes. The interactive experience allowed students to witness lectures in action, fostering a deeper understanding of theoretical concepts.
Apart from the academic activities, the students also explored the cultural and entertaining aspects of Erbil. One of the highlights of the trip was a visit to the Illusion Museum, where they immersed themselves in a world of optical illusions and artistic wonders. The museum provided a refreshing and engaging experience, adding a touch of creativity to the educational journey.
The students appreciated the opportunity to bond and share quality time during the visit, creating lasting memories that go beyond the confines of the classroom. After a day filled with exploration and friendship, the group returned to Sulaymaniyah, enriched with both academic knowledge and the joy of shared experiences.
