On December 29, 2024, Assistant Prof. Dr. Idris Hadi Salih, Head of the Board of Trustees at Tishk International University (TIU), and Prof. Dr. Sultan T. Abu-Orabi, President of TIU, conducted a significant visit to Al-Hussein Technical University (HTU) in Amman, Jordan. They were warmly received by Prof. Ismael Al Hinti, HTU’s President, along with the Vice President and various University Deans.
Al-Hussein Technical University (HTU) is a prominent non-profit institution with a distinct focus on practical, market-driven education within STEM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). HTU distinguishes itself through strong partnerships with industry, providing students with advanced, hands-on learning experiences and innovative programs designed to meet current market demands.
During their visit, the distinguished guests had the opportunity to tour HTU’s state-of-the-art laboratories and cutting-edge facilities, gaining valuable insight into the university’s advanced infrastructure. The productive visit culminated in a formal exchange of university logos and the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), laying a robust foundation for extensive future collaboration between the two institutions.
This comprehensive MoU is designed to foster a bilateral exchange of teaching staff and students, facilitate the sharing of academic materials and publications, and enable joint efforts in securing research grants. Furthermore, the agreement includes plans for organizing international forums, symposiums, workshops, and conferences, alongside collaborative sports and cultural events, all aimed at significantly enhancing the academic and cultural ties between TIU and HTU.
