Tishk International University (TIU) and Erbil Polytechnic University (EPU) have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). This agreement aims to enhance higher education quality through collaborative efforts. It also marks a significant step towards fostering academic excellence and innovation.
The signing ceremony featured distinguished leaders. Among them were Asst. Prof. Dr. Idress Hadi, Head of the Board of Trustees at TIU, and Prof. Dr. Sultan Abu-Orabi, President of TIU. Prof. Dr. Edrees Harki, President of EPU, was also present. Additionally, Vice Presidents for Academic Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Özdemir (TIU) and Prof. Dr. Botan Majeed (EPU), attended. Deans from various faculties also joined the event.
This strategic partnership will improve higher education quality. It specifically involves launching joint Master’s programs in several fields. These programs will be offered under TIU’s Faculty of Engineering, including Civil Engineering and Computer Engineering. Furthermore, the Faculty of Science’s Information Technology Department will host programs.
The collaboration highlights a shared commitment from both institutions. They aim to equip students with advanced knowledge and skills. Moreover, this partnership will contribute to the region’s academic and professional development.
