Tishk International University (TIU) and Nusa Putra University (NPU) have significantly enhanced their academic and institutional collaboration. They achieved this through signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The virtual meeting occurred on February 27, 2025, at 12:00 AM Iraqi Time. Key representatives from both institutions convened to discuss future joint initiatives.

Distinguished officials from TIU participated in the event. These included President Prof. Dr. Sultan T. Abu-Orabi, Academic Vice President Asst. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ozdemir. Several deans and department heads from the faculties of Engineering and Administrative Sciences and Economics were also present. Their counterparts from NPU included Assoc. Prof. Samsul Pahmi, Vice Rector I of Academic, Research, and Community Services. Assoc. Prof. Muhamad Muslih, Vice Rector III of Student Affairs, Alumni, and Collaboration, also attended, along with faculty deans and international relations representatives.

During the meeting, both universities showcased their academic programs, research endeavors, and institutional strengths. They also highlighted opportunities for mutual collaboration.
