On the 13th April 2016, students of the Faculty of Engineering under the supervision of Dr. Hassan Hassoon Al-Delfi Professor of Sustainability celebrated the opening the newly established ISHIK Sustainability Club. Dr. Hassan presented the club portfolio fist, the presentation was honored by the presence of Dr. Mehmet Ozdemir Vice President and Dr. Duran the Dean of Faculty of Engineering in addition to Mrs. Siba Kady the Head of Interior Design Department.
The presentation was followed by tree plantation event in which Prof. Dr. Ahmet Öztaş the President of the Tishk International University, his valuable guest Dr. Michael Mulnix the President of the American University Duhuk Kurdistan, university staff and the students planted tree on the campus.
