Mayor of Erbil Municipality Saman Mohammed Ahmed with the municipal officers visited Tishk International University on November 28, 2016.
Municipal delegates were welcomed at Tishk International University for a short meeting by Head of Board of Trustees Dr. Edris Hadi and Tishk International President Prof. Dr. Ahmet Öztaş.
The main aim and agenda of meeting was to foster cooperation and relationship for both. Therefore, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Öztaş gave information as to prospective research to connect Erbil to a smart city. Hence, at this point he underlined that collaboration of Erbil municipality for this projects are paramount importance. Mr. Saman mention that as a municipality is ready to collaborate in this research project of Tishk International University.
