Darashukran and Qushtapa refugee camps will host our ELT students for Educational help to the refugees. The project had been lunched last year by Dr. Numan Kanar in the purpose of providing and helping people who are in educational need in the refugee camps. This year is the second attempt by ELT student, not only one camp, but also two refugee camps were included for this years.
Before our student left from the Tishk International University for camps, there was held a short ceremony in front of Education Faculty. Tishk International University President Prof. Dr. Ahmet Oztas wished success to volunteer students. He emphasized that this project has an essential and important mission not only for Erbil, but also for whole Kurdistan region. He underlined the project is going to be very beneficial for their future career too. After that, last year’s volunteer shared their experiences with participants stating that the project will compensate the educational gap in Kurdistan, and they have been taken photo all together included new volunteers and previous ones , then President Prof. Dr. Ahmet Oztas, Dean of Education Faculty Suleyman Celik and their lecturers have seen them off.
