National and international delegations continue to visit Tishk International university. The Head of Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) of Erbil Office visited Tishk International University. Tishk International University President Prof. Dr. Ahmet Öztaş welcomed the delegation and hosted them in his office.
Ali Hussein, the Head of the KDP Erbil Office, praised the Fezalar Educational Company and Tishk International university because of the education provided. Ali Hussein said they give importance to the private education as well as to state educational institutions because private educational institutions increase the quality of the Kurdistan education. For these reasons, Ali Hussein said they are ready to help private education rise up.
Prof. Dr. Ahmet Öztaş welcomed Ali Hussein and thanked the delegates for their visiting. President Öztaş said “ We do our best to educate Kurdistan youth. Our aim is to make Tishk International university the one of the open doors of Kurdish youth to the world. With our education system and activities we try to help our students improve their talents. With student exchange system we send our students abroad for improving their experience. We have opportunity to send them to 45 countries in which we have contracts with 80 universities. Although Kurdistan is not a part of the Erasmus education exchange system, we try to exchange students with our dual relations. By these programs Kurdish students are learning these countries, cultures and Kurdistan is also introduced to the people of host countries as well. Moreover, we have a dual certification program that our students study two years at Tishk International university and two years at North America University; when the students graduate from the program, they have two certificates: one from Tishk International and another from the North American”.
After the conversation, the delegates were given a tour on the campus. The guests expressed their gratitude for the premises, especially the Dentistry Faculty and its hospital.
