Memorial Ceremony

On Wednesday, November 25, 2020, the Law Department at Tishk International University organized a memorial ceremony for the death of a recently graduated student (Kamiar Mahmood Tofiq). TIU president, TIU staff, students, lecturers, and head of the law department participated in the ceremony and shared this sour moment with Kamiar’s family members.  A short biography of Kamiar was shown.    National Tishk Pharmaceutical Conference (NTPC) 2021 is the 1st National Conference on Pharmaceutical Sciences Organized by the faculty of Pharmacy, Tishk International University, Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq and focused on Paradigm shift in Drug Discovery from traditional way of drug discovery to the modern ultra-rational way, with the Theme “Paradigm shift in Drug Discovery and Development” and will be held on June 26-27, 2021.

Christmas is the annual Christian festival celebrating Christ's birth; within this context, the Dean of Students at Tishk International University hosted our Christian students' event on December 20, 2020. On this day, our campus was decorated with a Christmas tree, an evergreen tree, often a pine or a fir, decorated with lights and ornaments as a part of Christmas festivities. Tamayuz Excellence is a multi-competition international initiative. The seven different international competitions award was established in 2012 in UK and has annual cycles of various competitions; one of them is the Iraqi graduation projects. The Iraqi graduation projects competition by Tamayuz, gives opportunity to all schools of architecture in Iraq, and Iraqi students all over the world to present their graduation projects, and presents various awards to the winners. Kurdistan Flag Day

Kurdistan Flag day December 17 of each year is the Kurdistan Flag Day, designated by the Kurdistan Region parliament in 2009. In this context, the Dean of Students of Tishk International University held a ceremony for commemorating this day. The Kurdish flag's main characteristic is the blazing golden sun emblem (Roj in Kurdish) at its center. The emblem's sun disk has 21 rays, equal in size and shape, with the single odd beam at the top and the two even rays on the bottom.
