In a collaborative project sponsored by the German DAAD, International Relations Office in Tishk International University hosted 16 students and 8 academic staff of Potsdam University from Germany in Kurdistan Region for nine days. The delegation was welcomed in Sulaimaniah by Prof. Dr. Ahmet Öztaş, Director of IRO. They visited all four City of Kurdistan Region (Sulaimaniyah, Halabja, Erbil, and Duhok). On Saturday, March 31, 2018, Dean of students organized a hiking trip to Safin Mountain, near Erbil, for the staff and students of Tishk International University. The journey began at 8:30 a.m. early in the morning, at 10:00 a.m. we reached Shaqlawa, and everything was going as planned before.
