Dean of Students with volunteer students visited the front line of Peshmarga forces in Makhmoor part to deliver donations covering the collected credit cards to peshmarga forces. Said Qahar Vice commander of Makhmoor sector welcomed Volunteer Tishk International students. Umed Aruzery Vice  President of Tishk International University made a speech and thanked Peshmarga forces for their standing against the enemy and gave plaque  of appreciation to Said Qahar.  Commander thanked Tishk International University students for their outstanding behavior and care with Peshmarga forces. The students distributed Peshmarga forces 220 credit cards, sweets and cakes.    

ISHIK University has been one of the pioneer universities within the Kurdistan region to promote not only research but also interaction and involvement within the community. The university is keen on developing programs, including academically based community service, direct traditional service, and community development. Deanery of Students at Tishk International University with partnership of Dilnewa Organization for blood donation on 10th January 2017 in order to help people who have Thalassemia and Peshmarga with blood need. All staff and students attended the this social responsibility project to render social awareness common among not only young generation, but also society. It was only for Iraqi citizenship holders. “The blood you donate gives someone another chance at life. One day that someone may be a close relative, a friend, a loved one - or even You”.
