On February 4, 2019, the Secretary of the Board of Trustees at the American University of Kurdistan Dr. Honar Issa presented a seminar titled “Institutional Effectiveness & Accreditation” at Tishk International University Campus. The elements of the Educational Quality were explained and the Accreditation’s Process and Standards were demonstrated. The presentation also highlighted the role of applying Self-Evaluation in the Educational Process. Dr. Idris Hadi Salih, Head of the Board of Trustees and Dr. Mehmit Ozdamir, Vice president of Tishk International University visited Mr. Victor Simakov, Consulate General of the Russian Fede,ration in Erbil, Iraq on the 23, January, 2018. It was planned to initiate collaboration between Tishk and various Russian Universities to promote shared seminars, international conferences, student and staff exchange programs and information exchange. He was warmly welcomed by the president of the Polytechnic University Dr. Kawa Abdulkarim Sherwany. The main aim of the meeting was to continue and renew the ongoing ‘memorandum of understanding’ that defines the joint master’s program at the two universities.
