On Saturday, March 31, 2018, Dean of students organized a hiking trip to Safin Mountain, near Erbil, for the staff and students of Tishk International University. The journey began at 8:30 a.m. early in the morning, at 10:00 a.m. we reached Shaqlawa, and everything was going as planned before. We met Mr. Fayeq Ali, Research Assistant in Business Department, our guidance, and he informed the team about the location and hiking tips. Easter is an important celebration for Christians. Easter Sunday is one of the essential parts of Christian faith. It promises new hope, new joy, and new aspirations. Easter Sunday also marks the end of the Lent season. During the Lent season, fasting, spiritual discipline and repentance are observed. International Women’s Day!

International Women’s Day events are held worldwide on March 8. Various women, including political, community, and business leaders, as well as leading educators, inventors and activists’ personalities, are usually invited to speak at various events on the day in the honor of women’s rights and their role in the society. Delightfully the Presidency of Tishk International University congratulates this day to all female staff, furthermore underlined women’s most important part of our community. Besides that, the team and distributed flowers among the staff. The event was successfully ended with joyfulness.

Thanks for Martyrs Certification Ceremony

Dean of Students has organized a Certification Appreciation Ceremony for volunteers who participated in “Thanks to Martyrs” Event, on March 05, 2018, at the campus of Tishk International University, to appreciate all the hardworking volunteers who made remarkable efforts in this successful event, as well as the appreciation certificates, were given. Foods and sweets were an amazing part of the event. A special thanks to the Deanery of students for providing such activities.

This 19th day of January 2018 Tishk International University, Dean of Students has organized a Certification Appreciation Ceremony for volunteers who participated in the “International Childhood Cancer Day.” In recognition for their outstanding contributions to the Charity Fundraising Event. Ali Bala (Dean of students) mentioned the big role of our volunteers which are participating in any charities and fundraising event which have been affecting our society significantly. International Women’s Day

On March 8, 2018, Dean of the Students, Tishk International University, Celebrated International Women’s Day which organized a panel of five female students of Tishk International University. They presented an impressive speech about the power of women on the scarification that they have given to our world. Moreover, they talked about their own story on how they have reached this stage of life. Gladly there was an extreme amount of students and staff participated in this event. Finally, the Dean of the Students handed flowers to the audience with a delight pleasure.
