Seminar on “Introduction to E-Learning and online University” was held by Dr. Qaisar Mahdi Head of It Service of Tishk International University on August 10th, 2017 for all Tishk International staff. The seminar was held in the presence of Dr. Idris Hadi Head of Board of Trustees and President and all staff for an effective learning system and developmental skills of each single member of Tishk International .
Seminar on "Developmental Efficiency in Higher Education" by Expert Engineering Saadia F. Hassoon from Together to Protect Human & the Environment Association was held at main building of Tishk International University on August 7th, 2017 at 10 a.m. for all staff members. The seminar was held in the presence of Dr. Idris Hadi Head of Board of Trustees and President of Tishk International University and all staff with a good impact in the context of efficiency in the field of higher education.
Professor Dr. Abdulrazq Essa Ministry of Higher Education in Iraq and Mr. Salam Khoshnaw Agent of Ministry of Higher Education in Iraq welcomed Dr. Idris Hadi Salih Head of Trustees and President of Tishk International University in Baghdad on the date of 2nd August 2017. They had a short meeting in order to discuss studying in Iraq and Kurdistan. Dr. Abdulrazq, as well, mentioned about the success of Tishk International and appreciated the contributions of Dr. Idris to Tishk International University.
Tishk International University participated in the 2nd Rwanga Foras International Job Fair’17 on July 26th, 2017, in Sami Abulrahman Park, Erbil/KRG. The aim of this International Job fair was to bring potential job opportunities for young people and students in Kurdistan. In this context, many companies were part of this fair. Dr. Idris Hadi Head of Board of Trustees and President of Tishk International University visited the fair on behalf of ISHIK family.
Mr. Abdulaziz Tayb Head of Board of Trustees of Nawroz University visited ISHIK, and welcomed by Dr. Idris Hadi Head of Board of Trustees of Tishk International Univeristy on July 18th, 2017. Head of Boards of both universities have conducted a short meeting in which prospective link has been discussed for the future cooperation. In this context, the main agenda was to have a strong relations among universities in order to organize, particularly scientific and academic events such as seminar, workshop, conference, and so on.
Tishk International University hosted Global Shapers- Erbil Hub with Malala Fund for a training and workshop for young women between the ages of 13-20 on July11th, 2017. Two main agenda were discussed in workshop: Youth Empowerment and Leadership and Public Health. The program ended by small group discussions which were supervised by experts while Malala were joining to each group individually. At the end of the day, Malala's 20th birthday was celebrated with local girls. It was a pleasure to have Malala's positive impact on local girls.
