A delegation of the Public Affairs section of the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad visited Tishk International University on Sunday. Anthony A. Deaton, from the delegation, said that they are not only visiting a local institution, but also they are visiting foreigner investors in Iraq as well. The delegation was welcomed by Tishk International Universities’ president Prof. Dr. Ahmet Öztaş. Tishk International University Dean of Students organizes a number of clubs for students and alumni each year. Graduates can participate in different kind of clubs like sports, art and charity clubs. International Energy, Environment and Ecology Conference known as ICEEE has now changed to ICEEAS standing for International Energy, Environment and Applied Sciences Conference. Tishk International University Education Faculty and Salahaddin University College of Education have signed an agreement for ICEEAS. After the workshops and as a fruit of a teamwork between SUH and ISHIK,  the committees, dates, topics and all other details have been determined. On 26 November 2015, Tishk International University President Prof. Dr. Ahmet Öztaş welcomed Saadi Pira Member of Political Bureau and Chief of General Relations Office at Tishk International University Campus. Mr. Saadi Pira met Vice President Dr. Mehmet Özdemir, Administrative Vice President Mr. Umed Aruzery, Dean of the Faculty of Law Dr. Hüseyin Çakıllıkoyak and Dr. Husen Balisani Lecturer in the Faculty of Law.
