On September 17-18, 2015, President Prof. Dr. Ahmet Öztaş, Vice-president Dr. Muhammed Özdemir and Dean of Education Faculty Dr. Suleyman Çelik participated in the 1st Bologna Process Research Congress in Ankara in Turkey. The Bologna Process is a European intergovernmental process which aims to establish a European standard in higher education and to create a European Higher Education Area (EHEA) based on international co-operation and academic exchange. On September 20, 2015, Prof. Dr. Mariwan Ahmad Rahseed, President of University of Human Development, and Prof. Dr. Anwar Muhammad Faraj, Dean of Law and Politics Faculty, paid a visit to Tishk International University. They met Dr. Muhammed Özdemir, Dr. Umed ARUZERY Vice Presidents of Tishk International University and Dr. Hüseyin Çakıllıkoyak Dean of Law Faculty. The process of ISO 9001:2008 started on January 01, 2014 with the preparation of organizational charts and job descriptions of all the staff in the university, and then we prepared the description of QMS procedures followed by the educational and operational procedures. Later, we formed many committees to check all the documentations. Before application phase started, we had done some training and awareness seminars for staff to get everybody involved in ISO process.
