The Art of Facial Prosthetics Training Course On January 10th, 2022, the Faculty of Dentistry at Tishk International University organized a maxillofacial prosthetic rehabilitation training course for faculty staff under the title of ‘The art of Facial Prosthetics’. The training was presented by Dr. Zhala Dara Meran, Ph.D., and sponsored by Zirve Digital Lab. Approximately 35 participants including faculty staff and members of the Kurdistan Board of Medical Specialities attended the course. The Medical Analysis Department of the Faculty of Applied Science at Tishk International University, with the support of Dr. Idris Hadi, Head of Board of Trustees, organized a virtual presentation with Dr. Firiad Hiwaizi, Consultant Haematologist in the United Kingdom. Dr. Firiad Hiwaizi graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery in Baghdad-1966 and is a Member of the Royal Colleges of Physicians in the United Kingdom 1976. The talk covered ‘Sources of Laboratory Errors in Hematology’, and was held in the presence of academics, research assistants, and students in the medical fields.

The Civil Engineering Department at Tishk International University (TIU) organized a workshop on “Introducing the funds opportunities of DAAD”, held on January 5th, 2022. The purpose of this workshop was to explain how to prepare for available funds, and to announce the fund availability in Iraq for graduates, PhD candidates or researchers, and higher education cooperation.
