5th National Workshop The 5th National Workshop was held by the Faculty of Education at Tishk International University, on March 26th, 2022. The workshop aimed to bring both national and international experts in the field to discuss and share teaching and learning ideas and experiences. Approximately 50 academicians, experts, and teachers from different institutions participated in the workshop, which was also attended by 250 students at the Faculty of Education. Visit Your Future Event Tishk International University (TIU) held a “Visit Your Future Event” for 12th-grade high school. The event took place from the 20th to the 22nd of February 2022. This event aimed to give students a chance to visit and experience our university firsthand and help students decide on what they would like to study. It also aimed in providing potential university students an opportunity to learn more about campus life and gather information on the faculties and courses available at TIU. SADA Art Exhibition The Dean of Students at Tishk International University organized an art exhibition titled SADA, on the 14th of February, 2022. The exhibition contained 38 paintings drawn by our talented student Sada Isam. The paintings depicted women, Islam, and nature. The event was commenced at 11 AM in the presence of Prof. Dr. Abdul Samad Salahaddin Ahmad, President, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ozdemir, Academic Vice President. On behalf of TIU, we would like to congratulate Sada Isam on her achievements and creativity and wish to see more of her outstanding pieces of work in the future.

Cancer Cure Workshop In cooperation with the Dean of Students' Office, the Department of Computer Engineering organized a workshop panel on Tuesday, February 15th, 2022, held in Hall #302 at Tishk International University’s Education Building. The panel hosted 3 distinguished panelists from Nanakali Hospital to discuss the causes, symptoms, and prevention of the disease and to help raise awareness on the Nanakali Aid Project. Autism Awareness & Care Fundraising Event Autism Care and Awareness Project is an annual community service project in which the Faculty of Pharmacy at Tishk International University in cooperation with Hana Autism Centre in Erbil work to fulfill the needs of autistic children. The project is supervised by Assistant Lecturers Ms. Amani Tahsin, Dr. Rojan Arif, Dr. Saya Ameer, and under the coordination of all other faculty staff members and students volunteers from all grades.
