TIU Staff Representative Visit Baghdad and Basrah As part of the Visit Your Future Program, a TIU staff representative visited Baghdad and Basrah to conduct seminars for various schools in these cities. The events took place from 5th March to 8th March 2023, with more than 200 12th-grade students participating. The program aimed to introduce 12th graders to Tishk International University's departments and acquaint them with the several college options they will encounter upon graduation. Visit Your Future Event for 12th-Grade Students Tishk International University recently hosted a highly successful Visit Your Future event from February 14 to February 16, 2023, for 12th-grade students from various high schools in and outside Erbil city. Kurdistan Flag Day December 17th of each year is the Kurdistan Flag Day, designated by the Kurdistan Region parliament in 2009. In this context, the Dean of Students at Tishk International University held a ceremony to commemorate this day on December 18th, 2022. The Kurdish flag’s main characteristic is the blazing golden sun emblem (Roj in Kurdish) at its centre. The emblem’s sun disk has 21 rays, equal in size and shape, with a single odd beam at the top and two even rays at the bottom.
