Mr. Dastan Qader Director of Projects and Mr. Rebin H. Arif Senior Field Coordinator in Rwanga Foundation were on the premises within the scope of Career Days event held on the campus on May 9th, 2017. The foundation representatives also visited Dr. Idris Hadi Head of Board of Trustees. The aim of the visit was to discuss a potential cooperation agreement between two institutions: Tishk International University and Rwanga Foundation. According to this cooperation, Tishk International students will be allowed to conduct their projects and plans in project-based events.  The details of the collaboration will be released soon.

On May 2nd, Head of the EU Delegation in Erbil Clarisse Pazstory visited Tishk International University for a visiting lecture. Ms. Pazstory was  welcomed and briefed by the Vice President Dr. Umed Aruzery about the academic and extracurricular life at Tishk International University. Ms. Pazstory's presentation mainly addressed two issues; the foreign policy of the EU and EU'S work related to Iraq and Kurdistan. Key points included the overall political nature of the EU, its outstanding success in building peace through integration and its unique character as a supranational entity. Tishk International University’s Faculty of Administrative Science and Economics proudly organized the second “Clean and Love Kurdistan campaign”. The campaign was on April 18th, 2016. On 2nd May, 2017, Tishk International University and Erbil Municipality organized a seminar to create an awareness of keeping clean and protecting the environment with the sponsorship of Parwa Sewing Factory, CEO of factory Mr. Akam Sherwan received the certificate and appreciation plaque for Prof. Dr. Ahmet Oztas President of Tishk International University and Mr. Farman Khalil Majid Director of Service and Environment Municipality.   The seminar took place on the campus and started with opening speech by Mr. Fatih Cura Dean of Faculty of Administrative Science and Economics; then Mr. Farman [...]

Deanery of Students of Tishk International University organized chess tournament for students on April 10th, 2017. The tournament was held until April 15th, 2017. 32 players participated in the tournament. The tournament was designed in 7 rounds and each player had 7 matches. The tournaments result was as follows: Hussein Muhamad got the first place, Eman Adnan was second, and Ahmad Salar got the third place.  Congratulations to the winners. The certification and award ceremony was held on April 25, 2017 in the president office by Professor Dr Ahmad Oztash which he wishes them good luck in their future life.

Continuing Education Center at Tishk International University organizing (Turkish & Kurdish) Course for University staff at the Education Faculty building on Ground Floor on Sundays and Mondays from 4:30 to 6:00 pm. in order to improve their language skills. The course started on 15th January, 2017 and will finish on 15th May, 2017.  

On 15th March, 2017, Tishk International University with the corporation of Kurdistan Save Children Organization and Ministry of Social Affairs donated blanket and cloth for children who live in prison since their mothers are in jail. The collected money by means of the students of Law Department and dean of students was used in that purpose. Hence, Law Department and Deanery of Student organized a ceremony for those children.
