Christmas is the annual Christian festival celebrating Christ’s birth; within this context, the Dean of Students at Tishk International University hosted our Christian students’ event on December 20, 2020.

On this day, our campus was decorated with a Christmas tree, an evergreen tree, often a pine or a fir, decorated with lights and ornaments as a part of Christmas festivities.

The event has been started by distributing small gifts from Santa Claus to the audience, followed by the speech of Dr. Idris Hadi,Head of the Board of Trustees of TIU; in his talk, he congratulated this day to all Christian students and staff then he emphasized that TIU is a place for all religions and colors without any difference. Then, the father, Martin Nikola, the priest, presented a talk. He congratulated this day to everyone, and he wished a merry Christmas to all. After his speech, one of our Christian students explained the importance of the day thoroughly. Finally, all enjoyed their traditional foods, sweets, cookies, and took a group photo.

We, as Tishk International University, wish you a happy year and merry Christmas to all.
