On Tuesday, October 9, 2018, the First International Conference on Advanced Science and Engineering (ICOASE2018), which is jointly organized by the University of Zakho and Dohuk Polytechnic University under the supervision of IEEE in Iraq, took place in the hall of conferences in Duhok province.
Dr. Idris Hadi Salih, Head of Board of Trustees and President of Tishk International University participated as keynote speaker in the conference (ICOASE). The topic of his seminar was about the impact of higher education institutions on stability, social peace and security in Kurdistan Region.
It is worthwhile to note that 270 researches from the international community were submitted to the conference, but only 97 researches were accepted. The opening ceremony of the conference held in Dohuk Polytechnic University and the 2nd and 3rd day will be at University of Zakho.
