The volunteer dentists and Pedodontics students arranged an event to the orphans house where they gave a free dental check and presents to the orphans. The students and the university administration actively attended the organization in which Prof. Dr. Ahmet Öztaş President, Dr. Mehmet Özdemir Vice President, Arif Çelebi Dean of Dentistry Faculty, Ercan Sezer Head of Department Mr. Rashad from Kar Vizierate, and Miss Kazhal Manager of Orphans were ready.
Dr. Bushra Rashid, Ms. Rojan Arif, Ms. Jale Tahsin Academics of the Dentistry Faculty and the second and fourth year students from the Pedodontics Department participated and that was dedicated to the orphans, including psychological support, health aspects and educational needs. The volunteers checked 40 students’ teeth.
Dr. Bushra Rashid expressed that Tishk International Dentistry is going to continue its social visits to other orphans’ homes to build a soul of philanthropy and charity inside its students and to give even a little smile to the orphans.
This organization lasted for two days on May 9-10, 2016.
