Mewlid is birth and the birth of Prophet Mohammed (pbuh) is rebirth of the Earth. “If you were not so I would not create the Earth” Qudsi hadith explains that how the birth of Prophet Mohammed (Pbuh) is worthy by Allah. That is why Moslims celebrate this day as a holiday. He is the representative of Islam which is the religion of peace and today we, as Moslims, and all humanity need the real meaaning of the holy message of Qoran. At the time of his birth, the humanity was in perversion, ignorance and denial in belief. The unbelief in Allah was causing an oppression against the women, weak people and slaves. They were facing with immoral and inhumane behaviours. The world was in the lurch.
Honored by the arrival of the Prophet at the world, the humanity got its real meaning and he became a hope for all mankind. As a best guide he taught and showed the real meaning of humanity and morality to the humankind because his guide was Allah and the message was holy Qoran.
Today his message is alive but it is wrongly interpereted and used as a tool for self desires. That is why religion is living a calamity since the holy message is made an instrument for the unislamic and unhumanistic behaviours. Unfortunately, we witness bloody scenes in the cradle of civilization and the birth place of Islam (the Middle East) today. Of course when these are done under the name of Islam, it disturbs us and hurts our feelings. Therefore, today we need his message more than yesterday and to say from the bottom of our hearts “You are more than welcome, Dear Prophet. We welcome you as in 1400 years ago. The humanity needs your message and we congratulate your coming to the all humanity with the first day excitement.”
