International Symposium on Urban Water Management in Cities In collaboration with the Gdansk University of Technology-Poland, TIU organized an international symposium entitled “Urban Water Management in Cities” under the theme of “Low Impact Development”, held on the 15th of December 2021. Kurdistan Flag Day December 17 of each year is the Kurdistan Flag Day, designated by the Kurdistan Region Parliament in 2009. In this context, the Dean of Students of Tishk International University held a ceremony commemorating this day on December 16, 2021. The Kurdish flag’s main characteristic is the blazing golden sun emblem (Roj in Kurdish) at its center. The emblem’s sun disk has 21 rays, equal in size and shape, with the single odd beam at the top and the two even rays on the bottom. Mercy Corner 2022 Project On December 14th, the Dean of Students at Tishk International University arranged a food fundraising event in which all faculty staff members and students participated. The purpose of the event was to support and promote the #Mercy Corner 2022 Project.
