The TIU student chapter of ACI (American Concrete Institute) organized FRC Bowling Ball Competition in cooperation with ACI Iraq Chapter, this event was hold on December 19, 2019 at Tishk International University Erbil Campus. Ten teams of civil engineering students participated in the event. All the teams were come from Erbil Polytechnics University, Raparin University and Tishk International University. Each team participated with two concrete balls made of fiber lightweight concrete with different mix designs. Christmas is the annual Christian festival celebrating Christ's birth, within this context Dean of Students of Tishk International University organized an event for our Christian students on December 23, 2019. On this day our campus was decorated by Christmas tree, an evergreen tree, often a pine or a fir, decorated with lights and ornaments as a part of Christmas festivities. The 3rd Nanotechnology Workshop was held on 21st December, 2019 at the Tishk International University. The invited speaker for 3rd nanotechnology Workshop Professor Dr. Muhktar Ahmed, paid a visit to Dr. Idris Hadi on Dec 24, 2019. Dr. Muhktar is a professor from Nanotechnology Integrated Biomedical Engineering Centre, NIBEC, Ulster University-England. He was invited to the 3rd nanotechnology Workshop as a keynote speaker by the department of physics education-TIU. Dr. Mukhtar is working on drug formulation and drug delivery. He has many publications on nanotechnology integrated biomedical engineering applications.
