Tishk International University, (TIU) has signed a comprehensive memorandum of understanding with Charmo University on November 11, 2019. Dr. Salih Raza, president of Charmo University accompanied by the Director of Research Center, Dr. Umed have visited Tishk International University. They were warmly welcomed and hosted by the Chairman of the board of trustee and acting president of TIU, Dr. Idris Hadi Salih. As part of a series of sessions under our Guest Speaker Series, organized by International Relations and Diplomacy Department, on Sunday, November 10th, 2019, the Deputy Speaker of the Kurdistan Region Parliament (Mr Hemin Hawrami) visited Tishk International University. In the event which took place in the morning of that day, Mr Hawrami presented a lecture on practical diplomacy to the department’s students. On November 4th-5th 2019, Tishk International University in collaboration with the University of Technology/Baghdad organized the 2nd International Conference on Architecture and Interior Design under the theme of “Identity: Tradition and Innovation”. On October 24, 2019, Medical Analysis Department in Tishk International University, Echo Organization, Chro Project along with the support of Ministry of Health organized a National Workshop for Breast Cancer Awareness at TIU Campus which consisted of two activities; a Seminar which discussed BSE (Breast Self-Examination) and Screening opportunity to Guests, Staff, and Students of TIU. Tishk International University and Erbil Polytechnic University will hold the 6th International Engineering Conference on Development in Civil & Computer Engineering Applications on February 26-27, 2019. The aim of the conference is to disseminate research findings and provide a platform for scholars to debate and exchange ideas on the developments in the field of engineering.
