A workshop on Program Assessment was organized by the Quality Assurance (QA) office at Tishk International University and presented by Dr. Samira T. Saeed, Director of QA on 4th December 2019. This workshop focused on program assessment process and its implementation for curriculum improvement purposes at the University. Program assessment is an integral part of academic programs run at academic departments. The academic programs offered at higher education institutions should be assessed on a regular manner and in a systematic way. A delegation from Tishk International University consists of Dr.Idris Hadi Salih Head of Board of Trustees and Dr.Sultan Aladwan (TIU) visited the Jordanians universities between December 15-17, 2019. During their visit, they have visited Al-Ahliyyah Amman University, which is the oldest and hugest university among the private universities in Jordan. The goal of the visit was to strength the ties between both universities. The TIU delegation were warmly welcomed by the president of Al-Ahliyyah Amman University, Dr. Sari A. Hamadan Ghanima. A delegation from Tishk International University (TIU) visited the Jordanians universities between December 15-17, 2019. In the second day of their meetings with they have visited the Yarmouk University. The aim of the visit was to sign memorandum of understanding (MoU) and to start a new scientific and academic relations with the Yarmouk University. The TIU delegation were warmly welcomed by the president of Yarmouk University, Dr. Zeidan Kafafi and they had a fruitful meeting and they have signed a mutual MoU. December 17th of each year is the Kurdistan Flag Day which was designated by the Kurdistan Region parliament in 2009. In this context Dean of Students of Tishk International University held a ceremony for commemorating this day. The main characteristic of the Kurdish flag is the blazing golden sun emblem (Roj in Kurdish) at its center. The emblem's sun disk has 21 rays, equal in size and shape, with the single odd ray at top and the two even rays on the bottom.
