A fabulous seminar under the title (Lung Cancer Awareness) was held at Tishk International University in cooperation with Macos Organization on Thursday, December 12, 2018. Student Deanery of Tishk International University organized a food fundraising event on December 05, 2018 with the support and contribution of our volunteer students and staff in the entrance of the main building. In the presence of Dr. Idris Hadi, Head of Board of Trustees and Tishk International University staff commenced the event after the ribbon cutting. On December 18, 2018, Hunar Salay photographer of Ministry of Education opened a photography Exhibition about the mesmerizing nature of Kurdistan. The gallery started 10:30 am by a speech of the Chairman of the board of trustees and acting president of ISHIK University Dr. Idris Hadi Salih, he mentions the importance of such events to raise the awareness of the students and promote more of eco-friendly actions to keep the nature of our dear Kurdistan immaculate. Mr. Kevin Cha, the previous CEO of LG Electronics of the Middle East & Africa Region, Mr. James Lee CEO of LG Electronics and Mr. Ghafoor Khoshnaw owner of Khoshnaw Group Company, visited Tishk International University On December 17, 2018, and welcomed by Head of Board of Trustees, Dr. Idris Hadi. On December 20, 2018, 38 students of Safeen private high school came from Shaqlawa, visited Tishk International University, they were all welcomed warmly by the university staff. They have led around and introduced to all departments of Tishk International University. They got a chance to see the academic system of the university.
