Ministry of higher education and scientific research in KRG, each year announce the national university ranking (NUR) for the private and governmental universities in separate groups.  This year’s ceremony held on Saad Abdullah palace in the presence of all the presidency members of the universities in Kurdistan. A workshop presented by Society of Petroleum Engineers- Erbil Section (SPE) in the Department of Petroleum and Mining Engineering at Tishk International University on November 14, 2018. The workshop is a part of SPE program called Distinguished Lecturer (DL), where each year, SPE selects a group of professionals, nominated by their peers, to share their knowledge and expertise with SPE members through visits to local sections. Tishk International University joined the global community in commemorating the 100th anniversary of the end of the World War One (WWI) which was ended on November 11, 1918. In a joint student and staff activity which was organized by both Department of International Relations and the Law Faculty that marked 100 years since the end of the WWI. Dr. Idris Hadi Salih, Head of the board of Bard of Trustees and a delegation from Tishk International university are currently in the united states of America. The presidency team is planning to visit several academic institution and universities in the USA to widen the international relations of Tishk International University.
