According to the approval of the Board of Trustees and the support of the university president Dr. Idris Hadi Salih, International scientific event added to Tishk International University profile through the successful attendance of Prof. Dr. Qaysar S. Mahdi to the International ICDL CTP workshop in Dubai for the period December 17-18, 2017. The Head Manager of Business Affairs ICDL organization, Ms. Rania Al Qaisi opened the ceremony of the workshop and Ms. Jayne Aiken Head of Strategy & Planning from UK ICDL office celebrated and submitted the participants the certificate of attendance at the last day of the workshop.
Physics Education students exhibited and presented their 3-D astronomy models and posters as a part of PHYS- 470 Astronomy course. On December 21, 2017, 3rd Year students of the Physics Education Department prepared about 20 different projects and presented their projects to the jury members and visitors coming from different departments. The exhibition took place in the main entrance of Tishk International University Education Faculty building. Dean of Students arranged a welcome ceremony on the campus for freshmen students. The event was held at 11:00 am on December 20, 2017. The event started with the welcome speech by Dr. Idris Hadi Salih,Head Of Board Of Trustees. Civil Engineering Department of Tishk International University organized a half day workshop on Important Architectural and Structural Attributes for Seismic Design on December 17, 2017. The Seminars of the workshop were presented by Mr. Wrya Abdullah, Assistant lecturer in University of Sulaimani.
