For this, the university was subjected to an initial assessment on November 11th by Dr. Basim Hasan Zayr, Lead Auditor at Bureau Veritas. Dr. Narmin Taha Mustafa, Specialist in general surgeon presented a seminar for dental students in Faculty of Dentistry, Tishk International University on Thursday, November 23, 2017. The aim of the seminar was to enhance awareness about cancer and specifically breast cancer, which is widespread in our region. The main signs and symptoms of breast cancer with its risk factors were discussed as well as important instructions about self-examination for early diagnoses of breast cancer.
