  Tishk International University celebrated its 6th graduation. The ceremony was held at 20.00 on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 in the front garden of the university campus. The ceremony started with the inauguration speech by the Head of Board of Trustees, Dr. Idris Hadi. Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economics successfully completed 2nd International Tishk International Business and Administrative Sciences Student Conference on May 21st, 2017. Faculty’s 110 4th year students started the process of writing thesis for entire year and 86 of them submitted their thesis for evaluation. After the first assessment only 75 of them qualified to be presented in the defense. At the end 10 students’ thesis accepted to be presented in the student conference. The Faculty of Education has successfully organized its 4th International Conference on Applied Science, Energy and Environment ICASEE on May 21st, 2017. The conference is honored by the presence of three Ministries of the Kurdistan Regional Government-KRG: the deputies of both Electricity and Natural Resources Ministries as well as representative of the Ministry of Municipality and Tourism. Tishk International University in Cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research organized a Certificate Awarding Ceremony and a Joint Workshop on May 17th, 2017, under the theme of “Features & Prospects of International Accreditation in Higher Education”. The workshop brought together the university presidents, the experts and academicians from various parts of the region to exchange knowledge and ideas regarding Academic Quality and Academic Accreditation in particular.
