Top-ten students were chosen from each year to be given certificates and gifts for their outstanding performance during whole academic year. The aim of this award is to wish them success and encourage them in academic world.
Dean of Students with volunteer students visited the front line of Peshmarga forces in Makhmoor part to deliver donations covering the collected credit cards to peshmarga forces. Said Qahar Vice commander of Makhmoor sector welcomed Volunteer Tishk International students. Umed Aruzery Vice President of Tishk International University made a speech and thanked Peshmarga forces for their standing against the enemy and gave plaque of appreciation to Said Qahar. Commander thanked Tishk International University students for their outstanding behavior and care with Peshmarga forces. The students distributed Peshmarga forces 220 credit cards, sweets and cakes.

Deanery of Students at Tishk International University with partnership of Dilnewa Organization for blood donation on 10th January 2017 in order to help people who have Thalassemia and Peshmarga with blood need. All staff and students attended the this social responsibility project to render social awareness common among not only young generation, but also society. It was only for Iraqi citizenship holders. “The blood you donate gives someone another chance at life. One day that someone may be a close relative, a friend, a loved one - or even You”.
Mathematics Education Department of Tishk International University organized a great competition on how to write, how to spell and how to define a mathematical vocabularies which are mostly used in math courses. In the competition was included 5 groups, and each group consisted of three students from second, third and fourth year of Mathematics Education Department. There were 5 jury members. Two of them were guest jury members who are Cuneyt KILIÇ Mathematics Teacher from Ronaki Hawler Educational Institutions and Ibrahim Nişancı Assistant Lecturer from ELT Department of Tishk International University. The winner group was awarded with gifts and certificate.
