Prof. Dr. Ahmet Öztaş as a representative of Tishk International University is a member of Global Engineering Deans Council (GEDC) since 2012. The GEDC is an affiliate of the International Federation of Engineering Education Societies (IFEES). In 2016, the Global Engineering Deans Council (GEDC) will vote for one Chair-Elect, one Secretary Treasurer and six Executive Committee members.  Prof. Dr. Ahmet Öztaş is also a candidate of the Executive Committee. We are delighted to inform 12th grade students for both parts Scientific and literary that they have (Ubur) they can record their names at Tishk International University Continuing Education Center for English language Courses, which help them to improve their language and have a chance for the next year to start reading at College departments according to their degrees after finishing 12th grade. Continuing Education Center also  provides the different course services devoted to the public within the university. Tishk International University CISCO Networking Academy offers classes that prepare students for computer industry. The courses help to build skills in-depth knowledge of computer. The academy has Cisco equipment in the lab to give students hands-on and real-world experiences. The course continues for five weeks. The courses are awarded with certifications. Tishk International University has signed a partnership agreement with Leicester University to enhance the academic cooperation. Such cooperation would open the door for students and lecturers to exchange experience and academic publications and researches. This cooperation will focus on: student exchange, Erasmus plus program, double diploma, Joint master program, Joint conferences, MSc and PhD programs, summer school and staff development training programs.
