Tishk International University Dean of Students prepared a Football Tournament from February 8, 2016 to April 26, 2016. 28 teams from all departments participated in the tournament in which all the teams manifested the great friendship and fair play and depicted their masteries. On April 26, the final match was played between Civil Engineering and Law Department at 16:00 pm. The champion team was the Law Department's who had shown a thrilling performance against the Civil's with a decisive score of 8-4. Faculty of Administrative Science and Economics proudly organized "Clean and Love KurdistanClean and Love Kurdistan" campaign. The first day of the event was dedicated to the seminar by the Erbil Municipality Officials in which they gave information about what is happening and has been done so far for sake of the environment. The second day of the organization took place at the picnic area. Tishk International University’s Faculty of Administrative Science and Economics proudly organized a campaign of “Clean and Love Kurdistan”. The organization lasted for two days between 04-05 May, 2016. On 4 May, Tishk International University and Erbil Municipality organized a seminar to create an awareness of keeping clean and protecting the environment. The seminar took place on the campus and started with a speech by President Prof. Dr. Ahmet Öztaş; then Vice Mayor of Erbil Municipality Abduwahid Ahmad Hamad welcomed the students and congratulated Tishk International University on being involved in such kind social activities. Tishk International University President Prof. Dr. Ahmet Öztaş paid a courtesy visit to Vrije Brussel University in Belgium and met the Rector Prof. Dr. Paul DE KNOP. In the meeting with the Rector, President Öztaş gave brief information about Tishk International University’s scientific and social activities and expressed his wish for the future collaborations with Vrije Brussel University.  After the meeting, Rector Torfs showed  President  Prof. Dr. Ahmet Öztaş around the KU Leuven University.
