7th International Visible Conference on Educational Studies & Applied Linguistics  (VESAL 2016) Was Held at Education Faculty of Tishk International University In Collaboration  with Salahaddin University. Education Faculty of Tishk International University & College of Education of Salahaddin University organized 7th INTERNATIONAL VISIBLE CONFERENCE ON EDUCATIONAL STUDIES & APPLIED LINGUISTICS. The program started with the Welcome Reception in Salahaddin University’s Culture Center the day before. On April 24th, Opening Ceremony was held at Tishk International University Campus. A delegate from General Directorate of Education paid a visit to our campus. The delegates were composed of Mr. Bashdar General Director of Education, and Mr. Hunar Director of Follow-up in General Directorate of Education.   The delegate was warmly welcomed by Dr. Mehmet  Özdemir Vice President, and Mr. Hasan Gürbüz Director of CEC. The aim of this visit was to follow the Teaching Training Course closely which is opened for the educators to improve their teaching skills. Tishk International University organized an "Anfal Ceremony" on the campus. Mr. Mahmud Haji Hamad Minister of Martyrs, the Representatives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research Dr. Muhammed Sabir General Director of Study &  Planning and Dr. Jamal Kamal, Vice General Director of the Studies, Planning and Follow-up Department, Representatives of the Government and the Intellectuals honored the event hosts with their participation. Tishk International University offers a variety of teacher training courses to help the educators improve their teaching skills. Within this context, about 140 teachers registered for a 45-day program in which they will update their current knowledge and improve teaching skills on English, Mathematics and Science. This courses will be given by our professional trainers: Mr. Rawa the Instructor, Mr. Hemn the Instructor, and Miss. Dunya the Instructor. The course will open the horizons of the educators by helping them develop an excellent teaching experience. The delegation was welcomed by Tishk International University President Prof. Dr. Ahmet Öztaş and Mr. Fatih Cura the Dean of Economics Faculty. President Öztaş gave general information about the university. During the conversation taking place in a friendly atmopshere, the parties discussed the possible future collaboration between two universities.
