IEC2016 is going to start on Saturday, February 20, 2016. Second International Engineering Conference on Development in Civil & Computer Engineering Applications (IEC2016) will last for two days. The opening ceremony will take place at Erbil Polytechnic University, Administration Technical Institute, Cultural Center of Students. This also includes two keynote addresses.  The 2nd day venue will be at Tishk International University that includes the third keynote address. All the guests are welcomed. A delegation of the Public Affairs Section of the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad and Erbil visited Tishk International university on Sunday. Counselor for Public Affairs Stuart M. Hatcher from the U.S.A Baghdad Embassy and Public Affairs Officer Doug Morrow from the U.S.A General Consulate of Erbil visited Tishk International University. The delegation said that they are not only visiting a local institution, but also they are visiting foreign investing institution in Iraq as well. French Delegation consisting of Erbil Branch Director of French Institute Mr. Jany Bourdais and Mr. Bayram Balci from International Research Center paid a visit to Tishk International University. Welcoming the guests in his office, President Prof. Dr. Ahmet Öztaş  gave detailed information about Tishk International university and the collaborations with different universities and institutions from every part of the world.
