A delegate from Cyprus Eastern Mediterranean University paid a visit to Tishk International University. Accompanied by Public Relations Office, the delegate among whom was Iraq Coordinator Mr. Sihad Osman Qasim were accepted by President Öztaş in his office. The guests had conversation in a sincere atmosphere. Visitors asked detailed information about the education in the region and university and discussed about potential cooperation between two universities. Architecture & Interior Design Departments organized  First Free Hand Exhibition. The exhibition was held on the 23-24 of August in Shanadar Art Hall in Shanadar Park. The interest was quite high. The departments exhibited their crafts of the students. The organization was held under supervision of Mrs. Sahar Mohammed (Lecturer in Architecture) and Siba Kady (Head of Interior Design).

Tishk International University gave alumni from each of the departments among whom was Mamand Othman Muhammed from Law Faculty. He received his plaque from President Öztaş. Mamand did his best during his education both intellectually and physically. Somehow he could challenge his physical challenges. He became a good example among all other students and showed once more that belief and dedication will bring success. Accompanied by his family and friends, Dean Dr. Çakıllıkoyak and Department Advisor Dr. Zeynel Polat, our alumni Mamand was also given Certificate of Appreciation because of his exemplary behaviors and diligence.
